After three and a half hours on the road, we arrived to the village of Quilós, situated in the provence of León, in Spain. Bierzo wine region and its best ambassador, Mr Ginés, was waiting for us.
The people reflected the land: authentic and honest. The sights, the food, the architecture, the villages, the mountains at a distance and the immense valley at their feet, everything felt natural and surprised us.
We were led to meet the vineyards, plants kept as treasures, and then their refined wine.
Bierzo is an enchanting place. There is definetely something about wine regions. Deeper roots and sobriety.
