About us
We are António & Sílvia and we are living in Ervedosa do Douro, a village on the southern bank of the Douro River. We’ve created Douro Walks, a project based on hiking tours and experiences in the Douro Valley.
Sílvia’s family works in the terraces of vineyards, olive and almond trees for generations. We and our team are committed with the Douro culture and landscape and we intend to share that with you.
Our programmes are private and customizable and are meant to provide an authentic look into the sights, traditions, food and wine of Douro Valley.

Ervedosa Walk
A walking tour at our village. An off-the-beaten-path that will for sure spark your imagination and will give you a different perspective of the Douro. A truly characteristic area where the presence of the locals is deeply noticed. At the end a picnic lunch will be provided at our house with some products we grow.

Provesende Walk
On this walk, we will cross the villages of Provesende, famous in the past for its generous white wines, and São Cristóvão, with traditional terraces of vines. A breathtaking perspective of Douro from above. At the end, by the Douro river, we have a typical picnic lunch with homemade food.
