Mosteiro de Tibães was a great surprise. It is situated near Braga, a city in the north of Portugal. In this area, nature is fresh and green. It is a very diverse and surprising area. Here, one of the highlights is, of course, wine. Just like in other wine regions of Portugal, wine tourism here has been growing with consistency, based on a product that remains faithful to its roots while tracking the pace of time.
Portugal is indeed a great destination for wine tourism. Vinho Verde wine region is just another one that you can add to Douro.
These two areas, so close in terms of distance, are in fact quite different. Two pieces of the puzzle of this wine country that is far away from being completed.
